I'm Shaun Thomas, the founder of Aegis Event Medical Solutions. For the past 7 years, I've worked the kind of events most people only see from the crowd: stadium matchdays, major festivals, arena tours, and film and commercial sets.

It means a certified EMT is physically at your event for the full booking, ready to respond right away if someone is hurt or feels unwell. Instead of everyone waiting on a 911 call, care starts in seconds.
It's worth it for estate parties, residence events, and weddings with a large guest list, an open bar, a pool, or older or younger guests. Coverage doesn't make your event feel clinical. It just means someone qualified is already there if something happens.
Not unless they need to. At private and VIP events, Shaun dresses to fit the event and stays discreetly positioned. On sets and at larger events, he's easy for crew and security to find, without getting in the way of the shoot or the guest experience.
Response time. A 911 crew has to be dispatched and find your venue, which can take ten minutes or more. An on-site medic starts care immediately, and if transport is needed, can give arriving paramedics a clear, fast handoff.
Yes. Aegis is insured as a set medic, and a COI naming your production can be provided on request. Just include the details when you book.
Yes, including stunt and emergency medical standby. Water work and lifeguard coverage aren't offered at this time.
Yes. Days of 16 hours or more are no problem and are quoted accordingly. Multi-day shoots are welcome too.

Aegis provides Basic Life Support (BLS) care: medical assessment, first aid, CPR and AED use, bleeding control, and stabilization. For anything that needs a hospital, 911 is called right away and arriving paramedics get a full handoff.
Every booking includes a fully stocked BLS medical kit and an AED.
Yes, bookings have a 4-hour minimum. Every job is quoted individually.

Los Angeles and Southern California, and anywhere else the job is. Aegis has been flown out for productions in Las Vegas. Travel outside the local area is quoted with a travel fee.
